              AP MACROECONOMICS
              OPTION 1:  On the AP Macro Page, there is an article called the "CPI Article."  Read that article and answer the following questions: 
              1.  Roughly how many items are used for the real market basket?
              2.  Identify 5 items that are found in the real market basket.
              3.  Explain 2 problems with the current method of calculating the CPI.
              4.  What are hedonics and why are they problematic?  (May have been included in #3).

              ECONOMICS
              OPTION 1:  Play the Chairman of the FED Game (Click Here)
              and meet the following two requirements:  1)  Get reappointed and take a picture of yourself with the computer screen saying you have been reappointed.
                2)  Write a brief summary of the round that you won.  What headlines appeared
              that caused problems for you?  What was your final interest and unemployment
              rate?  Why might this be more difficult in real life?

              AP GOVERNMENT
              OPTION 1:  Find a written copy of Obama's 2012 state of the union address (most major news networks have one).  Highlight 10 DIFFERENT examples of vocabulary words we have learned in class (i.e., examples of policy gridlock, checks/balances, executive orders, etc.
